Smooth and Effortless Integration - How it works

Thanks to a strategic partnership between Forta and Conduit (Mode’s RaaS provider), integration was seamless. Conduit managed the integration; no effort from Mode’s dev team was required.

Forta Firewall integrates directly into Mode at the RPC level. All transactions are routed through this single entry point before going to the sequencer for ordering and execution. To integrate Firewall, Conduit adds a hook onto each rollup RPC that routes transaction details to the Firewall for screening.

The results of the screening are written to the Forta Chain, a Conduit powered L3. This data is encrypted and only accessible to the Mode team. The chain also maintains an inbox of transactions blocked by the Firewall. Importantly, blocked transactions are not permanently restricted - they can be resubmitted after a delay period and processed normally.
